Six drawers.
Pull one, play something.
The Stacks catalogs free browser games the way an old library catalogs books — by drawer, not by algorithm. No feed to scroll, no account to make. Find the drawer, find the game.
About The Stacks
Filed, not feed
Everything here sits in one of six drawers, and each drawer holds one kind of game. There's no infinite scroll and no recommendation engine deciding what you see next — you choose the drawer.
We don't build every game ourselves. Many titles are catalogued from independent developers and linked or embedded with credit; the full breakdown is in our Disclaimer.
Running the catalog costs something, so a modest amount of advertising helps keep every drawer free to open. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what that involves.
The catalog
Six drawers, labeled the old way
Each label is a three-letter code, just like the drawers in a real card catalog.
FAQ
Before you open a drawer
No. Every drawer and every game inside it is free — no premium tier, no locked content.
No account of any kind. Open a drawer, pick a game, and it loads in your browser.
Yes, most games are built with touch in mind. A few arcade titles are easier with a keyboard, which we note where it matters.
Very little. We use cookies for basic analytics and, where enabled, advertising — see our Cookie Policy for the full list, and you're free to decline anything non-essential.
Independent developers, in most cases. We catalog and link to their work rather than claiming it as our own — details in the Disclaimer.
Email us the drawer code (like "ARC") and the game name, and we'll take a look.
